Danny Sinoff Trio ~ Celebrating Sinatra's Early Years
Danny Sinoff Trio ~ Celebrating Sinatra's Early Years
Danny Sinoff is a dynamic jazz pianist, vocalist, and bandleader known for his electrifying performances and deep connection to the Great American Songbook. A Boston native, he began classical piano at four and, after moving to Naples, Florida, won regional competitions before landing his first gig at 13. A year later, a Harry Connick Jr. CD and a Bobby Darin compilation sparked his passion for swing, big band, and bebop—setting him on a path to a lifelong jazz career.
After studying at Berklee College of Music, Danny returned to Southwest Florida, quickly making a name for himself. He led a group with the late trumpet great Dan Miller at Ellington’s Jazz Club, becoming a powerhouse in the region’s jazz scene; proving himself as a strong quartet and trio leader. Over the years, he has performed with legends like David “Fathead” Newman, Jimmy McGriff, The Brubeck Brothers, Joe Farnsworth, and Russell Malone. He’s also a frequent collaborator with Saturday Night Live saxophonist Lew Del Gatto.
Influenced vocally by Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Nat Cole, Harry Connick, JR., and Tony Bennett, and pianistically by Oscar Peterson, Ahmad Jamal, Wynton Kelly and Bill Charlap, Danny blends classic swing with modern jazz sophistication. He’s played renowned New York venues like The Apollo Theater, Smoke, The Cutting Room, Minton's and BB King’s, along with major jazz festivals across the country, including The South Beach Jazz Festival and the Syracuse Jazz Festival.
Whether leading a trio in a club or commanding a festival stage, Danny Sinoff delivers high-energy, soulful performances that keep jazz and The Great American Songbook alive, swinging, and unforgettable.
