Reservation & Ticketing Questions
All sales are final. However, Chris’ Jazz Café will allow changes of reservation / arrival times, show / set times and ticket exchanges for another performance when contacted THREE (3) DAYS prior to event if the exchanged time / date is available. Chris’ will also allow a venue credit to be used by the customer for a future purchase when contacted PRIOR to the date of ticketed event.
Each set may have its own combination of Dinner & Show seating and/or Festival/General Admission seating tickets. High-profile performances and weekend sets will often have only Dinner & Show seating without the option for Festival/General Admission seating.
- For sets that have Dinner & Show seating, you can choose your seating time so that you can arrive in advance of the show and enjoy dinner & drinks (see question below).
- For sets that have Festival/General Admission seating ticketing, your festival seating ticket will guarantee you a seat and you are free to sit anywhere in the social bar area based on a "first come, first seating" basis (see question below).
Festival seating is our general admission ticket and is available for some sets. The entire venue or a portion of the venue may be designated for festival seating. These tickets will guarantee you a seat and you are free to sit anywhere in the venue based on a "first come, first seated" basis.
This means that depending on your time of arrival and the popularity of the show, you may end up sitting at a Premier table, Standard table or in the Cocktail & Bar Area.
Certain sets may have one or more time slots available for dinner reservations before the show begins, for example, an 7:30pm set may have reservations available at 6:30pm, 6:45pm and 7:00pm. This is to ensure that your party can arrive at the venue at a convenient time but still have time for a comfortable dinner before the show. Your ticket purchase is your dinner reservation. Dinner & Show tickets include a server gratuity in your check-out fees.
Festival seating ticket holders are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes before the show begins. However, if you'd like to have dinner or drinks before the show, then we would recommend that you arrive sooner. Note that we cannot guarantee early entry to the venue for second sets if the prior set is sold-out or at capacity.

Yes, you will have dinner and enjoy the music in the same seat.
No, a single ticket purchase is always for a single set. However, subject to seating availability you may have options to attend both sets:
- If you are purchasing tickets in advance, you can guarantee seating by purchasing a second ticket for the other set. As many shows sell out, this is the only way to ensure access to both sets for shows in high demand.
- If you've walked-in for a set and paid a cover charge, then you can stay for the second set by paying a second cover charge, assuming that seating is available for the second set.
The maximum is 4 tickets on the website. Please call the club to purchase additional tickets if you are bringing a larger party so we can accommodate your group properly. Fees include Philadelphia Amusement tax, PA Sales tax. Dinner & Show tickets include server gratuity.
