Drawing inspiration from legends like Sarah Vaughan and Chet Baker, his artistry honors timeless standards while bringing a fresh energy to each performance. In 2025, Declan received national recognition as the Distinction Jazz Voice Winner for the Young Arts Foundation in Miami and was a finalist at the 2024 National Jazz Festival in Philadelphia. With multiple scholarships to jazz camps this summer, Declan continues to hone his craft under the mentorship of a vocal professor at Temple University, solidifying his place in the jazz world.
