Caleb Eckstein is a trombonist, composer, and arranger based in New Jersey. He studied jazz performance at Northwestern University, learning from jazz masters such as Vincent Gardner, Tom Garling, Victor Goines, and Joe Clark. He has performed or recorded with Sabina Sciubba, Warren Wolf, Brianna Thomas, Kenny Davis, and Benny Bennack III. In addition to being a freelance musician, Caleb leads his own groups, such as the Constellation Big Band, a full piece jazz orchestra that he co-leads with NYC drummer Jared Decker, and the BopTet, a sextet specializing in hard bop.
