Julian Lee is a 15-year-old vibraphonist and multi-instrumentalist in the Philadelphia jazz scene.
Described by All About Jazz as a “genuine talent,” Lee has performed as a bandleader and sideman at venues including Chris’ Jazz Cafe, the Deer Head Inn, and the Barnes Foundation. He has been selected for the COTA Jazz Festival’s Rising Stars program two years in a row, and featured at the Steve Weiss Mallet Festival for three consecutive years.
Julian has performed with Adam Nussbaum, Tony Miceli, Chuck Redd, Byron Landham, Chris Oatts, Jay Anderson, Dan Wilkins and others. He has performed at festivals including the Rochester International Jazz Festival, Germantown Jazz Festival, COTA Jazz Festival, and the Scranton Jazz Festival.
