Ben Singer is a drummer and bandleader local to Philadelphia and strives to build upon the strong music tradition that the city is known for. He is interested in incorporating new elements into the tradition and and works to play within the space between the familiar and the unexpected. With a huge passion for drums and music he is always working to to continually find his voice in the pursuit of presenting his original music and sound to the world.
The Ben Singer Band is a High energy Jazz Fusion Ensemble that features high impact takes on contemporary and original music. Taking audiences on a journey of groove, musicality and excitement; the group pulls from latin, African and funk rhythms creating a unique blend of expressive and rhythmic storytelling, all within a modern Jazz fusion context.
