2023 Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Winner, Tyreek McDole & His Quintet

Tyreek McDole, the 22 year-old, award-winning vocal phenom who’s turning heads and wooing audiences with his rich sound and smooth delivery, has been hailed as a brilliant star.

Tyreek began his musical journey, at the age of 11 when he joined his middle school band. Since then, he has gone on to excel in music, having participated as a principal member of his schools top marching band, wind ensemble, symphony orchestra, and jazz band through college . He made his vocal debut at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s 2018 Essentially Ellington National Competition, where he won the Outstanding Vocalist Award presented by Wynton Marsalis.

Tyreek found a “home” with swinging baritones and is often likened to legends such as Billy Eckstine, Andy Bey and the illustrious Joe Williams. Tyreek has performed alongside spectacular acts such as Theo Croker, Gary Bartz, Mike King, Mike Ode, Eric Wheeler, Ted Nash, Matt Wilson, Ben Allison, Rodney Whitaker, Rockelle Fortin, Winard Harper, Marcus Printup, Eric Reed, Carl Allen, Victor Goines, Chris Crenshaw, Johnathan Michel, Isaiah J. Thompson, Miki Yamanaka, Charlie Sigler, Chris Beck, Kyle Koehler, The Dr. Phillips Jazz Orchestra, The Springfield Symphony Jazz Orchestra and The Orlando Jazz Orchestra to name a few. He has performed at venues such as The Blue Note, Dizzy’s Club, Birdland Theatre, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Minton’s Playhouse, Dr.Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, The Timucua Arts Foundation, 88.9 WDNA, Detroit Symphony Orchestra House, Mezzrow’s Jazz Club, amongst several others.

He is currently studying Jazz performance at The Oberlin Conservatory of Music with LaTanya Hall, Gary Bartz, Gerald Cannon, Eddie Henderson, Billy Hart, Dan Wall, Sullivan Fortner, Weedie Braimah and will graduate Spring 2023.

The best seats in the house positioned directly in front of the performance stage (marked dark blue on the seating map).

Standard Tables:
Clear and unobstructed views of stage (marked purple on the seating map). A few tables have a partially obstructed view (marked light blue on the seating map).

Seating at high-top tables and at the bar area available on a first come, first seated basis (marked green on the seating map). Tables may be shared for sold out shows. Two TV monitors with live video feed of the performance are conveniently located above the bar and cocktail areas.
